Vintage
Trains run
several steam engine tours along the rail network. During the summer
months, and on Sundays only, they operate the Shakespeare Express from
Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Avon.
Vintage Trains operates from
its base in the West Midlands and is a susidiary of the Birmingham
Railway Museum Trust. Ticket sales are reinvested in the running and
maintenance of the steam engines and rolling stock.
Passengers can enjoy a touch of nostalgia with Vintage Trains and even
a traditional Sunday lunch.
