Rubery is a mainly residential area on the A38
route into the city of Birmingham. There is a
good selection of local amenities and the local
residents benefit from being close to Lickey Hills
and Waseley Country Park.
Waseley Country Park features one hundred and
fifty acres of woodland and greenery. There is
a visitor centre with a cafe and a meeting room
on the site. A popular destination for walkers
who find Lickey Hills just a little too crowded.
Although Lickey Hills gets far more visitors and
is without doubt better known to the city folk,
this is worth a visit and the views are spectacular.
Longbridge is close by and the Birmingham Great
Park is only a short distance from Rubery.
