Boughton
House
The transformation of Boughton from a 15th Century Monastic
building into one of the great houses of Europe 250 years
later is an amazing one. The impressive North front with
its classical French lines gives Boughton the appearance
of a complete chateau but this masks a characteristically
English structure of almost village-like proportions.

Coton Manor Garden
Coton is noted for its luxuriant borders providing colour
and interest throughout all seasons. The ten acre garden
occupies a hillside position extending down from the
17th century manor house and is landscaped on different
levels so that the garden slopes down from the house
to unspoilt countryside.
Beyond the confines of the main garden there is a magical
five acre Bluebell Wood (usually in flower in early
May), a recently established Wildflower Meadow and an
Apple Orchard containing 80 old English varieties.
