Sometimes the homepage of your ISP can get a bit boring. Ever wanted
to change your opening page? It's not difficult to do. Here's how
you do it.
Just head straight for control panel and click on the icon called
internet properties. Under the general heading you will see the
address of the web page that first opens when you open internet
explorer or navigator. This is generally your ISP providers home
page but it doesn't need to be.
When you signed up for your internet account with your current ISP
provider, the installation program made it your default opening
page. Sneaky isn't it?
If you would like to try out Birmingham UK Com for a while all you
need to do is substitute your current opening home page address
to that of http://www.birminghamuk.com and then you will have our
Birmingham UK Page as the start page every time you open your browser.
When you want to change it again just come back here and follow
these instructions if you find you have forgotten how to change
the settings.
