Looe is a pretty town with a river and a harbour. This is a popular
destination for tourists. The beach and shopping areas can get very
crowded. The best place to park is just outside town where there are
adequate pay and display car parks. 
There is actually a
Looe Island which is privately owned and allows visitors during the
summer months. A landing fee is charged to help with the conservation
work. Other boat trips and fishing expeditions are displayed at the
harbourside and prove very popular with the tourists.
