I am proud of being British and Jamaican at the same time. I love my work and my family and have two beautiful daughters called Isabel and Sofia. They are the light of my life. I musn't forget my wife Janice who looks after us all and is busy cooking good wholesome Jamaican and English food for when I get home after work.

I came to this country in 1956 and had to work hard to get where I am today. Despite what people may think it is a land of opportunity and if you work hard you can aspire to things and achieve them. I have experienced some racial problems whilst living here but not so much these days. People have accepted me and attitudes change. I am settled here now and have no problems and many ethnic English friends as well as black. I am a great believer in multi cultural societies and I think we can all learn from each other. Tolerance across the cultural divide is important.
