Birmingham Great Park is situated in Longbridge,
7 miles from the city centre of Birmingham with
access to the M5 just two miles away. This retail
and leisure park is a fine example of attractive
landscaping and modern development. It is set
in a parkland and has a cinema and bowling alley,
a health centre, restaurants, a hotel and a
supermarket.
This complex was one of the largest mixed use
development sites in the UK. It is home to a
number of businesses and provides local residents
with some excellent recreational facilities.
The open space around it adds to its appeal.
New housing has been built within close proximity
of the area and local retailers have benefited
from its nearby presence.
A network of cycle routes with easy access to
the local housing estates has also been part
of the planning of this £400 million complex.
