Great Barr is a loosely-defined area which straddles the boundaries of Birmingham, West Bromwich and Walsall, England.

Great Barr Hall was once home of Samuel Galton and a meeting place of the Lunar Society.

Musician Steve Winwood was born and raised in the Birmingham part of Great Barr.

"Barr" means "Hill". Perry (or "pear") Barr is adjacent.
