Counties of the South West
I know that we will probably get criticised for the way that this
section is pieced together. Featuring Devon and Cornwall we also creep
into Somerset and Dorset. We have tried to feature as many interesting
towns and villages along the West and South Coast.
Devon is well known
for it's spectacular inland scenery. It is also a very diverse county
covering two coast lines on the North Devon side and the popular
Southern coast. Cornwall, completely annexed by Devon has a host of
attractions and popular tourist destinations. Between them, Devon &
Cornwall can claim to have some of the best coastline and countryside
in England. When the sun shines and people decide to head off to the
coast a high proportion of people from the UK will make straight for
Devon and Cornwall.
