Age Concern Birmingham

Age Concern Birmingham has been in existence in one form or another since 1986, providing services to older people within the city of Birmingham. In February 1987, the organisation registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee [Charity No. 518610].

The organisation has changed and grown over the years and now employs approximately 60 members of staff and utilises the resources of approximately 112 volunteers. Following a Head Office move in 2001, staff are now located in rented accommodation in Centro House, Summer Lane, Birmingham.

Conference & Training Facility

Within Centro House, Age Concern Birmingham are now able to offer a large and newly fitted Conference/Training facility to outside organisations from all sectors from £75 per day.

The room can comfortably seat a maximum of 24 people boardroom style and up to 45 max people theatre style. We can also offer two further syndicate rooms to complement the larger facility or as a smaller alternative to the large room. Overhead projector and flipchart [both free], and TV/Video and Video Projector can all be provided on request, as can full catering facilities.

There is ample on-street parking around Centro House at very reasonable cost. Centro House is fully wheelchair accessible and disabled parking spaces are available on request.
